I have always been a little obsessed with dancers. With the way they can move, how elegant and beautiful their lines are, and just how exquisite they look on stage as they float and mould.
I tried dancing, but a little late and the result was rather like an elephant pounding the stage at my high school, amongst all of the 8 year olds I was in class with (when I was 16!)
So when I met Deanne & Katie, and discovered I was going to get to photograph a real life ballerina on pointe in my studio, I went a little nuts!
To me – and I know to Deanne – it was pretty special to watch the journey of this young lady through their shoot from teenager, to covergirl to ethereal ballerina!
This is one I am super proud of to share… I hope you find joy in it like I did!
